The Boss Who Cares 5 th G, English Second Language Second Semester

Introduction Thumba is a suburb of Thiruvananthapuram city, capital of Kerala. The famous rocket launching station is located here There are about 70 scientists at Thumba Space Center. They all involve in developing rockets which was a adventurous task and consumed lot of time and was stressful They worked from morning till night and sometime until midnight They were happy working under their boss and enjoyed their work, and did not think of quitting

The Story One of the scientists wanted to take his children to exhibition in the city Takes permission from his Boss to leave the office at half past five in the evening Boss grants him the permission The scientists was engrossed in his work and did not check the time He completes his work and checks the time was already half past eight in the evening He wound up for the day and left for home He was feeling guilty and disappointed that he could not take his children to exhibition as promised The scientist reached home to find his children not there His wife was sitting in the hall and reading magazine

The scientist was worried that his wife will pounce on him for not keeping the promise But surprisingly, she offered him a cup of coffee or to have dinner He asks his wife about the children His wife replies that Boss has taken the children to the exhibition Boss observed that the scientist was busy with his work at five in the evening and he would not leave Hence he decided to take the children to the exhibition himself as they would be looking forward to it Can you guess who this Boss was? Yes it is none other than Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam!
