Definition: The ability to support a system through adequate financial and human resources accounting for current maintenance and long-term enhancements. Producing an enduring, efficient, effective, and sustainable ECIDS—is not a start-and-finish endeavor; there will always be more work to do to ensure it remains current and relevant.
