The mission of Queen Bee Schools is to set high standards to ensure that all students learn, grow, and achieve. Glen Hill Mission

PBIS at Glen Hill School-wide building expectations for all students: Be here, Be ready. Be respectful. Be safe. We have a Universal or Green Team and a Secondary or Yellow Team made up of teachers and an administrator. Our Green Team meets monthly to review school-wide behavior data to identify behaviors that may need re-teaching, plan celebrations, problem solve issues as they arise.

Yellow Team meets monthly to review student intervention data and develop interventions for small groups of students. Currently, our special education team (psychologist, social work, speech therapist, special education teacher, and administrator) works on developing behavior support plans for individual students who demonstrate chronic problem behavior. Introductions of support staff. PBIS at Glen Hill

MTSS at Glen Hill Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) is the new term for Response to Intervention (RtI). All students receive CORE reading, math, and writing instruction in the classroom. In addition classroom teachers are provided with a literacy partner during their guided reading time to assist with meeting students’ needs. (Tier 1)

All students are assessed in reading and math. Based on these results, some students receive additional reading support. (Tier 2) We are adding additional math support this year for small groups of students. A few students are receiving very intensive support. (Tier 3) MTSS at Glen Hill

Student performance data (progress monitoring) is used to determine if the additional instruction is working to improve the student’s skills in reading and/or math. If your student is receiving additional support in reading and/or math, progress monitoring data will be sent home monthly. Regular problem solving meetings are held with staff to discuss student progress. MTSS at Glen Hill

MTSS and PBIS at Glen Hill Both MTSS and PBIS work hand in hand to help us ensure that students’ master academic skills and learn appropriate behaviors while on the journey to become college and career ready. The goal of MTSS and PBIS is to make sure our students are equipped with the skills necessary to be successful in life. Introductions of academic support staff.
