Title 1 N/D A State agency is eligible for assistance under subpart 1 if such State agency is responsible for providing free public education for children and youth. Institutions for neglected or delinquent children and youth; attending community day programs for neglected or delinquent children and youth; or in adult correctional institutions. National Evaluation and Technical Assistance Center (NDTAC)

What does ODE need from you for Title 1 N/D? Consolidated State Performance Report ( CSPR ) which is due to ODE by November 20, 2009 or sooner. Title 1 N/D October 2009 Child Count. Count Day-Thursday October 1, Same day as the Census data for the Service Plans.

Consolidated State Performance Report ( CSPR ) Yearly data collection instrument administered by the Department of Education's (ED's). All States receiving Title 1 N/D funding must complete a report. Purpose of the report is to determine effectiveness of the N/D programs to the progress students are making regarding academic, vocational, and transition outcomes.

CSPR for the State Agency (Subpart 1) focus on four areas: Student and facility counts. Demographics (race/ethnicity, age, and gender). Academic and vocational outcomes. Academic performance in reading and math.

CSPR Timelines and Submission The Title 1, Part N/D section of the CSPR requests data for the previous school year (SY), which is typically defined as July 1- June 30. For the 2010 CSPR, data to be reported are for SY November 20, 2009: CSPR Part 1 is due to ODE.

CSPR Facility Level Tool Reporting requirements are the same as last school year for subpart 1.

Secure File Transfer s containing personal/confidential student or staff information should not be sent through the system unless it is through secure .

ODE Collection Due Dates

LTCT Student Level Data Collection At this time ODE will not require a common Student Information System (SIS) ODE has designed a student level tool that will assist is gathering Accurate data. This will be required on a monthly basis from each contractor.
