LUSC Equipment Volunteer Managers Job Description Contacts All Equipment : Tricon, Rob Tavilla owner, Eddie Sullivan, Brendon,Drew DPW: Christopher Filadoro/Superintendent of Public Grounds- Recreation Department: Peter Coleman (718) , X262 Diamond: Call in Nov to pick up, and spring to deliver Trailer Diamond: Mobile Mini ( 800) (Contract# /1) Fall Season Tasks st week in August- Visit all 40 goals tabulate inspect for missing clips, broken hardware, nets with holes, broken wheels. Sand bags. Clean out trailer & take inventory of goal parts, Inspect pug goals & count should be (94), toss broken frames, inspect for broken stakes. Order goal Equipment. Contact registrar and confirm # of travel & In town teams. Translate into ball order. Order 8 equipment bags worth of material, See order list etc. and have delivered to trailer. Count coaches shirt inventory. Bags ( different color per division & ball size ), Diamond Field signs ( 34 ea.) prepare. In the past 3 years in the fall we have ordered balls as follows U extra) = 150ea., #3 balls Intown teams U7 to U12 (+2 extra ) = 47ea # 4 Brine attack balls Travel teams U9 to U12 (+2 extra ) = 32ea # 4 Phantom balls Travel teams U13 and above = 11ea # 5 phantom balls 3 rd week August – Contact Varsity Coaches and schedule “ Equipment Work Day” for week before school starts. ~ Plan on delegating 50 man hrs of work, and must have every task packaged and labeled & instructions. 1 st week Sept - Equipment work day : Fix goals, 2 sand bags at each of the 40 goals, stuff coaches bags. Coaches meeting : Goal Safety speech, deliver 8 coaches bags to U9 teams. Balls to division directors, and small amount of equipment replacements, coaches shirts. Inspect all goals for clips and sand bag and any improper installation of any new nets by volunteers, and correct. Contact field coordinator for required locations of goals, and contact town to move where necessary. 2 nd Week Sept U7& U8 first Saturday Diamond Kickoff with instructing which equipment bags for which division and fields signs. 3 rd week Sept U6 & TOPS Diamond first day – Drop off 14 equipment & ball bags for 14 teams equipment to trailer TOPS Equipment: in trailer 30 balls w/ bells, parachute, 4 giant balls, shirts for helpers, and kids. 2 nd Week Nov – Send out reminder all U6-U8 at Diamond to return Equipment to trailer. All other coaches keep their equipment bags for spring. 3 rd Week Nov- Shut down Work day – Lock up goals except ( 1 set of 11v11 Lincoln 1) pick up all sand bags and return to diamond trailer. Clean out trailer. End of Fall work. 1

LUSC Equipment Volunteer Managers Job Description Continued. Winter Season Tasks Club runs program at LHS where we have donated 12 18’x2’x1’ barriers stored in the LHS gym heater closet. These are used to separate the gym into 3 fields. Contact LHS Athletic director informing timing of requiring access to closet on Sundays. Proved where necessary Futsol balls from trailer and pug goals. Spring Season Tasks st Week June Contact registrar for team counts & division directors reminding them to contact coaches to inspect their equipment, inquiring any equipment needs. Club policy is we only provide new game balls. Club only provide any new U6 players with a new #3 ball. Get list of new players/team from registrar. Order balls. 2 nd week visit all fields, unlock goals and move into place. Deliver 2 sand bags to each goal. Inspect all goals for clips. Coaches meeting : Goal Safety speech, deliver 6 coaches bags for new teams. Balls to division directors, and small amount of equipment replacements, coaches shirts. Contact field coordinator for required locations of goals, and contact town to move where necessary. 3 rd week Spring Diamond kick off- Deliver balls to diamond trailer. 2

LUSC Equipment Volunteer Managers Coaches Meeting Message Equipment Bags Directors U9 and above will be receiving balls, providing them to coaches in their division. Also where required ice packs, and replacement first aid kits are available. All U6, U7, U8 coaches will receive equipment bags and balls at Diamond. If you need additional equipment, contact your division director. They are responsible for summarizing requirements of their division and place requests. Any equipment failures (dead ball) please bring to Tricon for replacement Any gear you want to return, bring it to your director, who in tern is responsible for returning it to the Diamond trailer. Goals Last One ?
