Elmer – A Book Trailer Our records, planning and ideas by Collette, Chloe, Amber and Rebecca

Our initial ideas… In the first session, we all decided to create our book trailer on the children’s story book, Elmer by David McKee.

Why Elmer? Elmer is a classic and well known children’s book Elmer has a strong moral theme running throughout – diversity and celebrating differences The book has vivid and colourful illustrations that we thought would look effective and engaging for the video trailer

Our next step… Once we had decided on our chosen story book, we mind mapped our ideas about our next steps for the video trailer…

Resources gathered… Elmer story sack Elephant hand puppets Coloured material and scarves Story book

Our roles… We all worked together in the different areas of creating our book trailer. At each stage, we came back together to discuss our thoughts and ideas.

Software, Programmes and tools used…

Our music choice…
