Gantry will allow for treating pediatric patients.  Biomedical research based on local infrastructure: eye protontherapy, VdG single proton irradiations, MRI, artificial heart  Priorities for safely use of nuclear energy and for fusion projects (ITER, Greifswald)  Income from accredited labs and export of engineers and technicians
