Concluding reflections and recommendation Mega cities will remain a mirage without the integration of all the professionals in the built environment. Estate surveyors and valuers and town planners are the land use advisers as they formulate, coordinate and control the orderly development of cities to enhance high degree of comfort and quality of life. The role public participation at all stages can not be over stated as public involvement will ensure satisfactory, credible and sustainable urban development.
