Available to undergraduate students and apprentices (whilst they study). Membership is free for those students studying a relevant degree and for apprentices. Affiliate Membership

Improving the world through engineeringwww.imeche.orgImproving the world through engineeringwww.imeche.org 3 Associate Membership  Is for any graduate with an accredited degree in engineering or a STEM subject (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).  If the degree is not accredited, the academic qualifications will be reviewed. This is free.

Improving the world through engineeringwww.imeche.orgImproving the world through engineeringwww.imeche.org 4 Corporate Membership  Available for engineers who can demonstrate the appropriate level of knowledge and skill.  IMechE membership is aligned with professional registration.  Professional registration is for Engineering Technician, Incorporated or Chartered Engineer. (Professional registration with the Engineering Council).  A Professional Review Interview will be conducted to ascertain the applicant can demonstrate that they have acquired the relevant competences through their initial professional development.
