Contributes to many common diseases in Australia such as: a.Cardiovascular disease b.Diabetes c.Arthritis d.Kidney disease By reducing levels of obesity reduction in these diseases is possible 3. The proportion of obese adults has doubled between 1990 – 2009 and is expected to rise 4. Obesity is preventable – awareness and education people modify lifestyle choices
