My Life Before WRAP

How was WRAP Introduced to me? Divorce State of the economy Laid off

How was WRAP Introduced to me? I blamed the system and didn’t know there were actions I could take. Even though I had family members who cared about me I thought I was alone. A family member shared their experience with WRAP and how it showed up in their life. I immediately gravitated towards WRAP.

WRAP is changing my life Through the Wellness Recovery Action Plan I found hope. By talking with my family member I realized there were options and choices out there for me.

WRAP® is changing my life “We see what we look for.” – Debbie Anderson This quote from a highly respected contributor to the WRAP community illustrates for me how I was living my life. I can now show up and go from “doing” to “being”.

Where WRAP is taking me… 1.I have met peers I would have never met before. 2.I found new supports. 3.Working with WRAP allows me to be “present” and in the moment. 4.Get well, be well and stay well. 5.WRAP is not a problem solver, but how to stay well despite problems and challenges in everyday life.

Conclusion I shared what it means to be a peer and why it’s important to me. I explained How WRAP has impacted my perspective on every day life. “Negative Space”, What is absent shapes my reality. In my experience WRAP is for Anyone and Everyone
