You will never regret the peace that is enjoyed by the faithful child of God! How many people do you know who are miserable? Who’s lives are full of turmoil because they are looking for fulfillment (peace) in all the wrong places! "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27. and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:7.
You will never regret being able to pray unto God, knowing that He hears the prayers of His children! There are many people today who are sincerely offering prayer unto God; but, little do they know that God is not honoring their prayer! "Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him. John 9:31. For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil.“ I Pet. 3:12.
You will never regret being confident in the promise of God to provide for His children! How many people do you know that their lives exist around the dollar? In everything they do it is about money, money, money! 9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. I Tim. 6:9-10. "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matt. 6:33.
You will never regret the great reward in building and maintaining a Godly family! All of us know of families that just crush our hearts! The turmoil, immorality, neglect, and abuse that has brought so much heartache to them! A foolish son is the ruin of his father, And the contentions of a wife are a continual dripping. Prov. 19: Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. 19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them. 20 Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord. 21 Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged. Col. 4:18-21.
You will never regret being a person of love, honor, and of good reputation! People who work hard to build and maintain a good reputation of honor and dignity is fading in our society! Many do not realize how important their reputation is or how easily it can be destroyed! A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, Loving favor rather than silver and gold. Prov. 22:1. 1 Dead flies putrefy the perfumer's ointment, And cause it to give off a foul odor; So does a little folly to one respected for wisdom and honor. 2 A wise man's heart is at his right hand, But a fool's heart at his left. 3 Even when a fool walks along the way, He lacks wisdom, And he shows everyone that he is a fool. Ecc. 10:1-3.
You will not regret avoiding the many pitfalls that accompanies the life of the ungodly! There are many people who, because of the ungodly lives they live, are paying in pain and agony for the consequences of their actions! 29 Who has woe? Who has sorrow? Who has contentions? Who has complaints? Who has wounds without cause? Who has redness of eyes? 30 Those who linger long at the wine, Those who go in search of mixed wine. Prov. 23: Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way, And be filled to the full with their own fancies. 32 For the turning away of the simple will slay them, And the complacency of fools will destroy them; 33 But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, And will be secure, without fear of evil.“ Prov. 1:31-33.
You will never regret being able to enter the joy of the Lord in that beautiful home of heaven! When the day of judgment comes, how many do you think will be cast away from God and will regret the choices they made in life? 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. I Pet. 1:3-5. How many of the saved will regret hearing, “Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:” Matt. 25:34b.
