The Nature of Repentance

Introduction  John the Baptist and Jesus Christ emphasized the necessity of repentance (Matt. 3:1-2; 4:17; Luke 13:1-5).  Repentance was central to the apostolic message of salvation (Acts 2:38; 3:19; 8:22; 17:30; 20:21; 26:20).
