Snowboarding Helmet Improvement Julie Johnson © This idea belongs to Julie Johnson, June 2, 2006

Abstract Safety is important for optimum enjoyment of winter sports. Many times it is the simple falls that cause concussions or broken bones, especially during your first experience. –25% of injuries from snowboarding occur on someone’s first trip and 50% occur in the first season. Ice can cause your board slide out from under you causing you to fall and hit your head on a patch of ice. –Ice is hard to see at night © This idea belongs to Julie Johnson, June 2, 2006

Abstract People are not comfortable in extreme temperatures. –Many people will suffer zero degree weather for good conditions. Facemasks may cause extra pressure on the back of your head when wearing a helmet. © This idea belongs to Julie Johnson, June 2, 2006
