Ocean’s Eleven: Overview The Plot Ocean’s 11 consists of the standard heist 3 way plot: Daniel Ocean (George Clooney) has recently been released from prison and throughout the opening scenes we see the group already being formed; the first part of the plot. They undergo extensive planning to steal $150 million from a casino in Las Vegas. They do meet some obstacles however, as ocean’s ex wife is the girlfriend of the casino’s owner. The heist itself consists of clever tactics using fake CCTV footage, SWAT teams and manipulation to leave Terry Benedict (Andy Garcia) with nothing. The crew successfully escape with the money and Ocean cant be tied to the heist because he was in the same room as Benedict throughout the heist. Although Ocean isn't necessarily caught because of the heist, he still gets arrested for breaking his parole of not staying in New Jersey. After a couple of months in prison he is released, met by his ex wife and partner in crime, Ryan (Brad Pitt) and they set off but with a set of body guards following them.
