The People Living with HIV Stigma Index Joint initiative of: Global Network of People Living with HIV (GNP+) International Community of Women Living with HIV (ICW) United Nations Joint Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) Measures PLHIV experiences with stigma, discrimination, and human rights violations Participative research based in GIPA principle and human rights

People Living with HIV in Germany are… Using community-led research on stigma to: Build stronger relationships among diverse groups of people living with HIV Work together for joint advocacy Deutsch AIDS-Hilfe led the research, leading interviews with 1148 people living with HIV. interviewed.

People living with HIV in Estonia are… Using community-led research on stigma to: Organize for their right to employment Establish safe and dignity-affirming health clinics The Estonian Network of People Living with HIV led the research and advocacy and interviewed 300 people living with HIV.

HIV is Not Spread by Working Eleven companies joined the campaign launch Signs publicly posted in reception areas Logo placed on each website. All participating companies listed online: a/nimekiri/ “Our Company is Friendly Toward People with HIV”

People living with HIV in Malawi are… Using community-led research on stigma (n=2272) to: Bring together all national networks of people living with HIV for joint advocacy Create policy briefs and coordinate activities for policy change The Malawi Network of People Living with HIV led the research and advocacy.

Malawi Policy Briefs Quality Treatment Now! Getting to zero stigma and discrimination. Call for Increased Access to HIV and AIDS Treatment and Sexual and Reproductive Health Services (SRHR) for those who need them. People living with HIV have Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights too!!! Improved Psychosocial Counselling for HIV: A key to Better Management of HIV Testing and Counselling (HTC) Can Support Groups Bring Hope to PLHIV Experiencing HIV Related Stigma.
