Squirrel monkeys have a pretty shy personality. A Squirrel monkey is a mammal. I will tell you about how they live in families, their adaptations, and what they eat. Read on if you do not know about Squirrel monkeys.

At the beginning, I’ll tell you how squirrel monkey’s live in families. Squirrel monkeys have up to 50 members in their families. They move around a home range of 12 and a half square miles. They also live in very large groups of 10 to several hundred.

Next, I’ll tell you about how they use their adaptations. Squirrel monkeys have keen hearing so they can hear their predators. These fast monkeys move through the trees by kapping. Their odor turns away hunters who might otherwise kill them for food.

Finally, I’ll tell you how they eat. Squirrel monkeys love to eat fruit, nuts, and other tropical plants. All monkeys use their hands to eat. They better watch out because Gorillas steel their food.

Now that you know about squirrel monkeys, I’m going to ask you a question. Do you think squirrel monkeys are interesting? Because I do.
