Welcome to the tropical rain forests of Central and South America. If you listen and look you may find a spider monkey hanging in the trees. Spider monkeys are amazing animals! Come on this jungle adventure to learn about spider monkeys.

Spider monkeys eat many different food from the jungle berries fruit insects reptiles. They feed up in the top of the tree.

 Spider monkeys are amazing mammals. They live in the jungle of South America, México, and in the tropical rain forests.

 Spider monkeys have long lanky arms and gripping tails. Spider monkeys have slender bodies with limbs and long narrow hands. Their bodies help them to be acrobatic so they can swing on the trees. Spider monkeys can hang on the trees with one hand.

 Spider monkeys have adaptations. They swing with their tails through the trees to get away from predators. They use their tails as a fifth hand.

 Spider monkeys are amazing animals. I learned all about them - how they live and how they eat. Spider monkeys are the strongest animals! They are my favorite animal now.
