STAR EVENTS IN REVIEW 2014 IDAHO FCCLA

CHANGES IN STAR EVENTS Post-secondary now includes 6 different events Advocacy Culinary Arts Early Childhood Fashion Design Interior Design Teach and Train

All secondary (through grade 12) events with the exception of Culinary Arts and the four Online Events will allow two entries per state, per category, for competition at the National Leadership Conference Applied Technology has been discontinued New Events include: Math for Culinary Management Sports Nutrition FCCLA Chapter Website ( Online event) CHANGES IN STAR EVENTS

Name Changes: Chapter Showcase Display has been renamed Chapter in Review Display Chapter Showcase Manual has been renamed Chapter in Review Portfolio Chapter Service Project Manual has been renamed Chapter Service Project Portfolio Early Childhood has been renamed Early Childhood Education CHANGES IN STAR EVENTS

All STAR Events with the exception of Culinary Arts and Parliamentary Procedure now must include evidence of completing the online project summary form to receive 1 point on the Point Summary Form.
