Christian Immaturity vs. Maturity Heb. 5:11-14
Hebrews 5:11 “Concerning him we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing.” nothros; from nothos; sluggish, slothful, slow, dense, stupid:- dull(1), sluggish(1).
Hebrews 5:12 “In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!”
“dull” in Mt. 13:15 from pachus (thick); to thicken, to fatten, figuratively to make dull, stupify or to wax gross:- become dull(2).
Hebrews 5:13 “For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.”
