The following pictures are examples sugar skulls that are used in Mexico in the Day of the Dead Celebration.

The Process: You will be given a large photocopy of a picture of you. You will create your pattern design on top of the photocopy with colored pencils. Be sure and color neatly and be creative. You must also create a background to go with your face pattern. Feel free to research some more cultural masks before beginning. Color darkly with the pencils to cover the photocopy.
