There are more steps toward salvation then are found in any one verse, but there are never less! This is important. God wants us to read ALL the Bible, not just a few verses. If we only needed to read one verse to learn how to be saved, the Bible would be a whole lot shorter.

And after you are saved, what will you do then? “Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”. (2Timothy 2:15) That means we need to read and study the Bible daily to understand God’s plan for our lives, and so we are ready to answer questions others may ask us about being a Christian.

After you are saved, what will you do then? “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” (Matthew 28:19-20) As we learn more about God’s plan for salvation, we need to teach it to others and God will be with us as we do … forever!

There are more steps toward salvation then are found in any one verse, but there are never less! This is important. We must read the whole Bible to understand God’s plan of salvation. Don’t leave anything out!
