Patience & Longsuffering Both are to be found in the Christian Colossians 1:11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

Patience & Longsuffering Not exactly equivalent to each other –“patience” primarily deals with “circumstances” and “things” (study, debt, pressing on through roadblocks) –“longsuffering” primarily deals with relationships (family, brethren, peers) Eph 4:2, “with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love”

1 Thessalonians 5:14, Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all. 15 See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.
