A Treasure that Treasures Matthew 13:44-46 A Treasure that Treasures! Some parables deal with the character of the kingdom. Easy to understand if we read carefully what Jesus said. Often misinterpreted because we do not carefully read what is said. Two parables often compared to those who happen upon Truth and those who actively seek out Truth. Is that what the text tells us, or is it just what we want to see?

The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was thrown into the sea and gathered fish of every kind. When it was full, men drew it ashore and sat down and sorted the good into containers but threw away the bad. Not everyone will enter!
