Appointing Elders: When they had appointed elders for them in every church, having prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord in whom they had believed. - Acts 14:23

Wife of Elder: Women must likewise be dignified, not malicious gossips, but temperate, faithful in all things. - I Timothy 3:11

Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, - Titus 2:3-5a
