Improving Americans’ financial future Increased percentage of young adults who report they are excellent or pretty good at managing money: 50% in 2006 to 62% in Two-thirds of young adults feel financially stable. Since 2006, significant increase in the percentage of young adults who report saving money regularly. Fewer young adults say they procrastinate on saving money: 46% in 2006 vs 41% in 2012.
