Just before you start to deal with casualty – think about! Accident  how it happened? ACCIDENT MECHANISM  what can I see?  what can other people say to me? Non – accident case  what I know about the casualty´s status?  what can I see?  what can other people say to me?

1.Safety for me and for casualty 2.Bleeding if it is profuse, it has priority!!! 3.Consciousness  Responsive – examine  Unresponsive – casualty is breathing – examine  Unresponsive – casualty is not breathing – CPR 4.Dialling of Emergency Medical Service Care of casualty until EMS arrives!!!
