Become Complete Col 2

1) We are complete in Christ- Col 2 9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 & you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality & power.

Our completeness, the fulfillment of our life’s purpose and goal, is found in Jesus Christ alone. As our Savior and Lord, He should be the source of our direction, our aspirations, and His wishes our command.

Eph 4 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to & fro & carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,

Eph 4 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head- -Christ--

Eph 4 16 from whom the whole body, joined & knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

Am I looking for my completeness in Christ or in something earthly like my job, relationships or money?

2) Completeness comes as I focus on God’s work in me- Heb Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

2) Completeness comes as I focus on God’s work in me- Heb make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever.

Becoming complete, fulfilling our completeness in Christ, is something we must work for, fight for and expect for our lives.

Don’t get tired… Gal 6 9 So don't get tired of doing what is good. Don't get discouraged and give up, for we will reap a harvest of blessing at the appropriate time. NLT

Continue to grow… II Tim 3 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

Continue to grow… II Tim 3 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work

Work through the hard times… James 1 2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
