TMAP in 2014 and 2015 Over 417 registrants from 51 countries attended the 2014 TMAP meeting in Arlington, Virginia. –Among them were representatives from 140 corporations, 190 law firms, OHIM, the USPTO and WIPO. The 2015 TMAP meeting will take place at the OHIM headquarters in Alicante, Spain from October 13–15. –It will be INTA’s first TMAP meeting in Europe.

Why Alicante in 2015? Alicante is home to the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM). OHIM is responsible for managing the Community trade mark and the registered Community design. In 2015, the EU will conclude a major, multiyear project to revise its trademark laws when the new Community Trade Mark regulation enters into force. This is the most significant change to EU trademark law in 20 years.

Why Alicante in 2015? Registrants will hear firsthand from OHIM officials about how the newly amended regulation will be implemented. This unique opportunity makes the TMAP 2015 a must- attend event for anyone whose work involves Europe. The Meeting will also feature sessions providing top- quality training for trademark administrators and practitioners.
