Types of adverbs Adverbs of manner: standing behind intransitive verbs or objects of transitive verbs E.g.: She danced beautifully. He gave her the money reluctantly. Adverbs of place: standing behind intransitive verbs or objects of transitive verbs E.g.: She went away. I look for it everywhere.
