The Russells bunked down for a week at a very nice timeshare on the edge of Wanaka, a small town near a beautiful lake in the SW part of New Zealand’s South Island. This is the main lobby of the timeshare.
The resort had a nice area for guests to gather and watch TV or have a drink.
A nice set of pools had lots of summer visitors enjoying fun in the sun. Note the grass growing on top of part of the timeshare complex.
Not far from the pools was a nice long lap pool.
Sadly, the Russells did not join in at the pools—they opted for sightseeing each day.
It was very tempting to use a hot tub near one pool, but we did not. All the pool facilities looked very modern and stylish.
A small bar was available near the pool area.
Near the bar was a dining area.
The living area in our timeshare condo—clean, fairly comfortable.
A nice glass table, couch and chairs, and TV were available. The patio doors lead to a small grassy area behind the unit.
A glass-top range, nice oven, small dishwasher, small refrigerator, and microwave were in our unit.
A nice king bed with a light warm comforter filled the small bedroom.
Our unit, the lower one on the left, had access to a small yard behind our unit—but it was so HOT, we really didn’t sit out back.
