The solution included two HP ProLiant DL980 G7 servers running Microsoft Windows Server 2008 in an active/passive configuration to provide high availability for Paladion’s proprietary security application, as well as two ProLiant DL980 G7 servers in an active/passive configuration for Microsoft SQL Server. Two additional ProLiant DL980 G7 servers are deployed in a remote site providing disaster recovery for the application and database servers. HP P2000 G3 FC/SCSI MSA storage arrays are utilized at both sites.
