Community Learning

Purpose of Community Learning Maximise access to learning, whatever people’s circumstances. Promote social renewal by bringing local communities together. Impact on the social and economic well- being of individuals, families and communities.

Objectives Focus on people most disadvantaged and least likely to participate. Ensure those that can pay do pay and use this to fund more learning for those that can’t. Widen participation Support progression relevant to personal circumstances. Develop stronger communities
