Tip 1 – Get yourself out there!  Tell everyone you know  Network  Develop an ‘Elevator pitch’

Tip 2 – Do your research  Understand your potential corporate supporter  Ask lots of questions  Look for common objectives

Tip 3 – Widen your net  Winners sell themselves at every opportunity  Keep the ball rolling  Keep an eye out for opportunities to communicate

Tip 4 – Mirror the partner  We buy from people we like  Tailor your approach

Tip 5 – Put on a show  Make your presentation relevant & memorable  Rehearse your pitch  Don’t turn up with a coach load

Tip 6 – Get ready for a grilling  Anticipate some tough questions  Who will be in your audience?  Rehearse your responses
