Project Purpose Add additional lanes Widen shoulders Increase length of on & off-ramps Add bike lane Improve connection between Rtes 135 & 166

Project Description Widening: Inside and outside of existing bridges –Three 12 foot lanes in each direction –10 foot inside and outside shoulders Bike path: –Completely separated from traffic by concrete barrier –next to SB lanes –Connections: South end: connects to levee trail North end: veers west to connect Hutton Road

Schedule –Begin Construction Fall 2011 –Complete Construction Spring 2014

Construction Costs Anticipated Construction Costs: –Contractor: Flatiron West Inc. –Contract Amount: $30.9 million
