GUIDELINES FOR PROPER USE The LaRue R.A.T. Stock is designed to easily drop on to “Mil-Spec” 6- position receiver extensions (aka buffer tubes). The LaRue R.A.T. Stock will not work properly on “Commercial” extensions. Below, is a diagram that shows the principal differences between a commercial extension and a mil-spec extension. Page 3 TM-LT800 OPERATIONAL MANUAL FOR LARUE TACTICAL R.A.T. STOCK

CHAPTER 1 INTRODUCTION I.GENERAL The LaRue RAT™ Stock was designed to be the ideal complement to the LaRue Tactical AR15 family of rifles. The RAT works with any Mil-Spec Receiver Extension. The unique 2-stage trigger mechanism allows shooters to adjust the pull length of the stock while in a variety of shooting positions. The CNC-machined internals allow for smooth operation as trigger mechanism is pulled to the rear and released. The internals provide positive lockup on Mil-Spec receiver extension positions. The internal cavity is designed for a snug fit without the need for an additional locking mechanism. Ambidextrous 1/4” swivel sockets, and 1” slots provide ideal anchor points for two-point slings. A locking rear butt-plate slides open to expose compartments that hold cleaning kit components. II.SPECIFICATIONS Length: 6.990” Height: 5.30” Materials: Glass-filled polymer frame with metal internals. Over- molded rubber Butt Plate. Page 4 TM-LT800 OPERATIONAL MANUAL FOR LARUE TACTICAL R.A.T. Page 7 TM-LT800 OPERATIONAL MANUAL FOR LARUE TACTICAL R.A.T. STOCK Even with the Locking Switch in the horzontal position, the stock can be moved along the length of the receiver extension by pulling the trigger half-way to the rear. 4.0 Using the Trigger Lock The Trigger Lock is designed to prevent to stock from being accidently removed from the extention. The RAT Stock ships with the Locking Switch rotated to the vertical position. This allows the user to install and remove the stock on the receiver extention. Once the stock is installed on the extension, the user may choose to rotate the switch to the horizontal postion. Vertical position UNLOCKS the stock Horizontal position LOCKS the stock
