How to Use the Microphone System It’s as Simple as 0, 1, 2, 3!

0 STEP 0: Plug in the System If the system is not plugged in, plug it in 17

STEP 1: Turn on the System 18 Check the system light at the rear of the base

STEP 1: Turn on the System If the light at the rear of the base is not on 19

STEP 2: Turn on the Channels 21 Check the lights on the three microphone channel boxes 2 2 2

STEP 2: Turn on the Channels 2 22 If the light on a channel box is not on

STEP 2: Turn on the Channels 2 23 Press the switch located here

STEP 3: Turn on the Mics 24 Find the two pouches holding cordless handheld microphones

STEP 3: Turn on the Mics 25 Remove the contents of the pouch

STEP 3: Turn on the Mics 26 Open the battery compartment by pulling here on the side of the cover

STEP 3: Turn on the Mics 27 Instead of pulling on this clip here

STEP 3: Turn on the Mics 28 Insert the batteries

STEP 3: Turn on the Mics 29 Make sure they are pointing in the right direction

STEP 3: Turn on the Mics Close the battery cover and screw on the base 30

STEP 3: Turn on the Mics Turn on the microphone by holding down the recessed button for a few seconds 31

STEP 3: Turn on the Mics 32 The microphone comes on, indicating remaining battery life (5 hours 20 minutes in this instance)

STEP 3: Turn on the Mics To use the microphone, hold it close to the mouth and speak directly into it 33

STEP 3: Turn on the Mics Remove the headset microphone from its pouch 34

STEP 3: Turn on the Mics 35 Turn on the headset control

STEP 3: Turn on the Mics 36 This light will come on

STEP 3: Turn on the Mics Loop the headset over the facilitator or presenter’s ears 37

STEP 3: Turn on the Mics 38 Make sure the microphone is close enough to the mouth

STEP 3: Turn on the Mics Clip the headset control on your belt or put it in a pocket 39

●Remove batteries from handheld micro- phones, putting everything in the pouches ●Turn off the headset microphone and return it with its control to the pouch ●Return the pouches in the blue box ●Unplug the system (no need to turn off the system or the channel boxes) At the End of the Day 40
