SSC TRAINING SEMINAR – BUDGET  Chair gets budget estimate from past year (ACC9)  The CO establishes the local training plan  The CO and the chairperson meet to establish a global budget  A joint presentation of the budget to Squadron Sponsoring Committee  Budget must be approved by committee with approval recorded in meeting record.

SSC TRAINING SEMINAR – CIRCLE OF EXCELLENCE 20 criteria leading to the Circle of Excellence: 1) Hand in the CPQVO 101 form before the deadline, Oct 1st; 2) Hand in the ACC-9 form before the deadline, Sept 30; 3) Hand in the P and T forms before the due date, Sept 30; 4) Submit the goods inventory for the insurance before the due date, Oct 1st; 5) Submit a budget plan before Oct 1st; 6) Have a minimum of 5 members in the Sponsoring committee; 7) Have a valid charitable organisation number; 8) Attend regional meeting (chairperson or representative); 9) Attend the Annual Conference; 10) Attend the basic training (minimum 1 committee member);

SSC TRAINING SEMINAR – CIRCLE OF EXCELLENCE 20 criteria leading to the Circle of Excellence: 11) Hand in the national summer camp documents before Dec 17; 12) Submit the name of a candidate for the Effective Speaking contest ; 13) Participate in the preliminary drills; 14) Participate in the Music Festival, choreography section; 15) Use the LSA in its totality before Mar 31st; 16) Use the MCP in its totality before Mar 31st; 17) Submit a name for the Provincial Committee student grant; 18) Submit a name for the Chairperson’s Trophy; 19) Have a minimum of 30 cadets according to the Fortress strength by Mar 31st; and 20) Make sure the election for the sponsoring committee happens before Jun 30th.
