Music and Dance Spanish culture is packed with traditional music and dance and varies from region to region. At one point there were more than 200 traditional dances. The following are some of the more well known dances:- Flamenco:  A passionate dance hailing from gypsies. Fandango:  At one point the most famous dance of Spain, the fandango is a lively, happy Spanish danced in two's. Paso Doble:  A quick one-step Spanish dance. Jota Aragonesa:  This typical dance hails from the north of Spain and features a fast tempo as couples dance with their hands raised high above their heads playing castanets. Sardana:  Several couples join hands and dance in a closed circle in this traditional dance from Catalonia. Muñeira:  Danced in twos or alone along to the music of bagpipes, this traditional "Miller's Dance" is typical throughout Galicia and Asturias. Bolero:  One of the oldest and most traditional dances of the history of Spanish dance, the bolero is a quick Spanish dance boasting sudden pauses and sharp turns. Sevillana: Lively and joyous dance typical of Seville and reminiscent of flamenco that features four distinct parts.

Music and Dance (continued) The music of Spain has played an important part in the development of western music. It has had a particularly strong influence upon Latin American music and western classical music. The music of Spain is often associated abroad with traditions like classical guitar, but Spanish music is, in fact, diverse from region to region. Flamenco, for example, is an Andalusian musical genre from the south of the country. In contrast, the music in the north-western regions is centred on the use of bagpipes, while the nearby Basque region, with its own traditional styles, is different again, as are traditional styles of music in Aragon, Catalonia, Valencia, Castile and Leon.

Wildlife The brown bear has traditionally been a permanent part of the wildlife in Spain although it has suffered greatly over the last hundred years. The Iberian lynx is an example of wildlife in Spain that is indigenous and only to be found in Spain

Wildlife The long Haired mountain goat is worthwhile trying to see for wildlife enthusiasts in Spain Wildlife experts place estimates of current numbers at around 20,000

Spanish culture The culture of Spain is European culture mixed with Roman culture and Iberian cultures. Sport is hugely popular in Spain. Motor sports Individual sports Bullfighting Soccer Basketball

Daily life Daily life in Spain as you can see is wonderful. If you went there you would see Spaniards and tourists walking around in beaches taking photos of Gaudi and people playing Padel (sport similar to tennis). The Spanish siesta is when Spaniards take a nap during the day for two hours Spain is mostly a peaceful country so you can stay asleep for as long as you want without being interrupted
