Why is it important to know how to correctly cite direct quotes? Direct quotes gives your readers the confidence that your position is shared by those who know what they are talking about Helpful tip: “if your source would qualify as an expert witness in court, and you need an expert witness to back up your argument, use a direct quotation.” -James Lester

Using direct Quotes Astronomers Weekly Astronomers today use powerful telescopes to study the night sky. These tools carry their vision far beyond what the naked eye can see. Yet, even before the simplest telescope was invented, ancient people were able to learn much about the universe just by looking into the heavens.
