Encore!, All County, and All State Chorus Information Meeting August 19, 2014

Encore!  Sing National Anthem at a minimum of one Lewis sporting event this year.  Attend and perform in District Solo and Ensemble, November 17 or 18.  Sing at Ice Flyers Game February 6

All County Chorus Fall 2014  Must be in 7-8 Grade in order to participate  Must attend a minimum of 2 practice sessions per week with Ms. Bowne. Dates and Times are on the Chorus Calendar  Same music as All State Chorus  Registration Fee = $25  Clincians TBA  Contract should be coming in soon from the County

All State Chorus 2015  7-8 chorus students are eligible to participate  State Audition Fee = $15 due September $12  Contracts should be coming out soon from the district  Must attend at a minimum of 2 of the weekly practice sessions with Ms. Bowne  Lewis school is only allotted a few audition spots. A pre- test will be given in September to determine those that will get to audition for All State this year  Those that earn a spot to audition for All State will start making monthly payments of $75 to Lewis Chorus starting September 15. If you do not make one of the All State Choruses you will be refunded all of your payments EXCEPT the $15 audition fee.

All State Price Breakdown (Based on Last Year)  Approximate Total = $400/ person + Food  Registration Fee = $50/ student, $40/ chaperone (1 free for every 5 students that go)  Van Rental = $192.50/van  Gas and Parking = $35/person  Busch Gardens Ticket = $49/student, $57/ chaperone  Hotel =  $75/ night and room –Sleep Inn Ocala  $141/ night and room –Courtyard Marriott (If we can get reservations)
