ATLAS software ATLAS soft installed –INSTALL_PATH /afs/lnf/project/atlas/soft/soft1/AtlasSoftware/v –Setup a) create a cmthome directory in your home directory b) create requirements file in your cmthome directory

c) Once the home requirements file has been created, it needs to be configured, which also determines the version of CMT that will be used by default. This only needs to be done once, or each time a new version of CMT is chosen. In order to setup the desired version of CMT, cd to the directory where the requirements file is (usually cmthome), and do: lxcalc1:~/cmthome> source /afs/lnf.infn.it/project/atlas/soft/soft1/AtlasSoftware/CMT/v1r19/mgr/setup.csh lxcalc1:~/cmthome>cmt config The above steps you need to do only once at the first time. Each time when you login your account afterwords you need to do only following: lxcalc1:~/cmthome> source setup.csh -tag= note that your test area is: lxcalc1:~/cmthome> echo $TestArea /scratch/nfs/atlas/meiwen/testarea/AtlasOffline
