Great Is Thy Faithfulness
Presentation transcript:

Be still, my soul; the Lord is on your side Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain Leave to your God to order and provide In ev’ry change he faithful will remain Be still, my soul; your best, your Heav’nly Friend Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end

Be still, my soul; your God will undertake To guide the future as He has the past Your hope, your confidence let nothing shake All now mysterious shall be bright at last Be still, my soul; the waves and winds still know His voice who ruled them while He dwelt below

Be still, my soul; the hour is hast’ning on When we shall be forever with the Lord When disappointment, grief, and fear are gone Sorrow forgot, love’s purest joys restored Be still, my soul; when change and tears are past All safe and blessed we shall meet at last

must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers! From Psalm 37 Leader: Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers! For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb.

Trust in the Lord, and do good; Church: Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. Leader: Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.

He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, Church: He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; Leader: Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!

Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Church: Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil.

For the evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the Lord Together: For the evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the Lord shall inherit the land.

Worship Leader: “The Word of the Lord!” Church: “Thanks be to God!”

There is no one who is like You, You stand alone as God; Forevermore There is no one who is like You, You stand alone as God; All the earth will bow before You, They’ll see You as You are; And Your people sing

Jesus is the Lord who reigns forevermore; CHORUS: Jesus is the Lord who reigns forevermore; Jesus is the Lord, He reigns, He reigns.

Heroes tremble in Your presence, Kings forget their crowns; Mountains shudder at Your whisper, Nations fall face down; And Your people sing,

Jesus is the Lord who reigns forevermore; CHORUS: Jesus is the Lord who reigns forevermore; Jesus is the Lord, He reigns, He reigns.

You reign forevermore; Jesus You are Lord, You reign, You reign, You reign, You reign… © 2005 Vertical Worship Songs c/o Integrity Media, Inc., 1000 Cody Road, Mobile, AL 36695 All rights reserved. Used by permission. CCLI #1999365

Here is love vast as the ocean Loving kindness as the flood When the Prince of life, our ransom Shed for us His precious blood Who His love will not remember? Who can cease to sing His praise? He will never be forgotten Throughout heaven's eternal days

On the mount of crucifixion Fountains opened deep and wide Through the floodgates of God's mercy Flowed a vast and gracious tide Grace and love like mighty rivers Poured incessant from above Heaven's peace and perfect justice Kissed a guilty world in love

On the third day He was risen Conquered death, escaped the grave And through this, His resurrection Unto us new life He gave Who His love will not remember? Who can cease to sing His praise? He will never be forgotten Throughout heaven's eternal days Robert S. Lowry / William Rees Public Domain. CCLI #1999365

Eternal God, our Father, We are so grateful that our forgiveness, our salvation, our justification, our reconciliation is not grounded on what we do for you, but what you did for us in the Person and Work of Your beloved Son.

He is our Righteous, our Holiness, our Life He is our Righteous, our Holiness, our Life. We glory in the finished work of Jesus applied to us by your Holy Spirit. We have neglected the clear incentives to live sacrificial lives in this age. We are for the most part living for this age and not the next. This is foolish, sinful, and shortsighted.

But the gospel has freed us to heed the voice of our loving Master: “Sell your possessions, and give to the needy. Provide yourselves with moneybags that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys.

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. You are our treasure Lord. By your grace we now let go of what we cannot keep to gain what we will never lose.

Revelation 1:5-6 To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever.

I believe in God the Father, Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, dead, and buried;

He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting.

Lose all their guilty stains. There Is a Fountain There is a fountain filled with blood, Drawn from Immanuel's veins, And sinners plunged beneath that flood Lose all their guilty stains: Lose all their guilty stains, lose all their guilty stains; And sinners plunged beneath that flood Lose all their guilty stains.

The dying thief rejoiced to see that fountain in his day, And there may I, though vile as he, Wash all my sins away: Wash all my sins away, wash all my sins away; And there may I, though vile as he, Wash all my sins away.

Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious blood Shall never lose it's pow'r, Till all the ransomed Church of God Be saved to sin no more: Be saved to sin no more, be saved to sin no more; Be saved to sin no more.

E'er since, by faith, I saw the stream Thy flowing wounds supply, Redeeming love has been my theme and shall be till I die: And shall be till I die, and shall be till I die; Redeeming love has been my theme And shall be till I die.

When this poor lisping, stamm'ring tongue Lies silent in the grave, Then in a nobler, sweeter song, I'll sing Thy pow'r to save: I'll sing Thy pow'r to save, I'll sing Thy pow'r to save; Then in a nobler, sweeter song, I'll sing Thy pow'r to save. Down to the Sacred Wave Down to the sacred wave, The Lord of life was led; And He who came our souls to save In Jordan bowed His head.

He taught the solemn way; He fixed the holy rite; He bade His ransomed ones obey, And keep the path of light.

Blest Savior, we will tread In Thy appointed way; Let glory o’er these scenes be shed And smile on us today. Words: Samuel F. Smith, 1832. Music: Ferguson, George Kingsley, 1843

The Lord bless you and keep you Benediction of Aaron The Lord bless you and keep you The Lord make his face to shine upon you And be Gracious to you. The Lord lift up his countenance upon you. And give you peace.
