Blitz

Blitz information On the 7 of September 1940 crushing bombs hit London from German Luftwaffe. It lasted to the10th of may London devastated bombs and destroyed half of the city.

The name of the German air force Luftwaffe was the three air forces names of Germany they said they were the strongest air force in Germany.

On the first day of The Blitz, there was 430 people killed and 1,600 were severely injured! Overall in the Blitz there were 60,000 killed and 80,000 injured.

Famous Bombings This was St. Paul's cathedral when it somehow didn’t blow up! This was many buildings being bombed in Coventry.

Different types of bombs This a Doodlebug bomb. It was one of the most deadliest bombs ever!
