Creativity, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Professor Lachlan MacKinnon, University of Greenwich, London, U.K.

So, what's Creative? Is it Art??

Film?? Technology??

Architecture/Design?? Space, the final frontier – aw, now we're just getting silly??

OK, so what are creative people like?

Are Innovators Different??

How about Entrepreneurs??

Differences?? There are no characteristics of age, gender, nationality or background that prevent someone from being creative, developing innovative products or services, or being an entrepreneur. The major difference with all of the people we've identified is that they have developed their ideas, their vision, their passion and made that the driving force of their lives. They all developed their knowledge and skills through practical experience, combined with education and professional advice, and continued to learn throughout their lives

So, what's the message?

❖ Find an idea ❖ Identify a USP and a market ❖ Develop a plan ❖ Find Funding ❖ Develop your product/service ❖ Sell ❖ Work, work, work!!

Make a Difference! "Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” Steve Jobs
