Central Management System (CMS) Version 1.0 Made by Eden Sun Jan 2010

Introduction The Central Management System (CMS) offers a simple and centralized monitoring interface for the video surveillance equipment. It benefits users to monitor multiple DVRs and cameras, and allows users to simultaneously monitor 64 sites per group (up to 10 groups).

Start up Groups and Sites Setup  Click on the icon and select

Major Functions

Live Two ways to view live video  Click on the icon  Right click on the site in the site tree and select from the pull-down menu

Record Instant Record  Right click on the site in the site tree and select to start recording and to stop recording.  During recording, the end of tile will show [R].

Schedule Record  Click on the icon for schedule record window Record (Conti.) Users can schedule specific time to record the video to the local computer.

Playback Local Playback 1. Launch CMS Player Two ways to launch CMS Player: Right click on the site in the site tree and select  Click on the icon 2. Click on the icon in CMS Player

Playback (Conti.) 3. Two ways to do playback Double click on the bar Click on the button to search for videos via file list

Playback (Conti.) Users can also convert DRV files to AVI files here by double clicking the designated files adding to the conversion list. Users can play DRV file by double clicking the designated file. *If the duration of a DRV file is less than 3 seconds, the file will not be successfully converted.
