OUR LOVELY SCHOOL Milli Piyango Anatolian High School is in Turgutlu, one of the districts of the historical city of Manisa. It was founded in There are 24 classes, 8 laboratories, a large library and a gym in the school. The laboratories and classes are equipped with high-tech equipment for the benefit of the students. In order to be accepted to this school, students have to take a certain point in the exam held after the secondary school. In the first year, all students take common basic lessons, such as Maths, Chemistry, Physics, and Foreign Language etc. When they complete the 9th grade, they choose tracks leading to certain specializations. (Turkish-Math, Science, Social Sciences, Languages) They study in these different tracks for three years. Besides a good education, students in this school can also enjoy a wide range of social and sports activities. There are various clubs, such as Scouts Club, Chess Club, Art Club etc. that students can participate in their spare time. As the teachers and students of Turgutlu Milli Piyango Anatolian High School, we are very happy to take part in this Comenius School Partnership Project. We are aware of the fact that in order to walk along the road that leads to world peace, we need a good knowledge of different cultures, mutual understanding and solidarity. We hope such projects will pave the way to a world where we forget our differences and get rid of our prejudices.
