 The foundation of our classroom is built strong with relationships. From this solid base, our classroom family will be constructed. It is my belief and experience that strong relationships pave the way for groundbreaking moments in our classroom.  The work we will do this year will be dynamic, interesting, and creative. My goal is to help instill in your child a lifelong love for learning. We will approach each day with this goal in mind and ensure that our work is intentional, experiential, and that students will know how the skills we study are applicable to their own lives.

 Establishing a close-knit relationship with your child and your family that is based on communication and respect.  Modeling and encouraging a love of lifelong learning.  Facilitating a rigorous education that enables your child to meet and exceed Washington State /Common Core Standards for third grade  Ensuring that your child experiences success and celebrates their accomplishments.  Providing your child with a vivid and engaging learning environment! ~ Technology, Project Based Learning, Variety of Teaching Methods

 All kids will be given opportunity to advance beyond their current level  A variety of instructional models will be used to facilitate learning  *The new Common Core Standards support breadth and depth

 This is a working document at all times! It is subject to change constantly and serves as a tool for me to manage the scope and sequence of the year. Curriculum Calendar
