The Wheel and axle is a wheel connected to an Axle, these two parts rotate together and the force is transferred from one to the other.

How to use a Wheel and Axle There are two ways to use a Wheel and Axle. One Way is by wrapping a rope around a wheel with the lever sticking out. A object can be tied to the other end. If you turn the lever the rope will move the object toward you or away from you. The other way is having two wheels at the end of an axle. Then the wheels will roll, which makes movement.
