About the Presenters: Dr. Alan Fazzari has served in many Human Resource positions for over 26 years including VP of People Services, Quality and Six Sigma for a major electronics manufacturing company. SHRM and its Chapters have recognized his teams on numerous occasions for innovative programs in HR and Organizational Development. Most recently in 2006, he was the runner up in SHRM ’ s Human Capital Business Leader of the Year award for his work leading a Six Sigma Quality initiative that netted millions of dollars in process and product development savings. He has also worked for the past 12 years as a part-time professor at several Universities including The College of Saint Elizabeth, Monmouth University and Thomas Edison State College in New Jersey. He instructs both on site and on line in the many areas of Human Resources, Management, Health Care Economics and E-Commerce. He received his Doctorate from Rutgers, his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and MA from Montclair State University. Dr. Don R. Swanson is Professor of Communication and Chair of the Dept of Communication at Monmouth University. There he teaches the HR communication sequence in the MA in Corporate & Public Communication program that he founded in Don is also the Principal Communication Counsel of Communication Success Associates.
